Most children love kibble. They are a very useful resource for children's dinner, and even for a birthday party or other special occasion.

The spinach croquettes they are ideal for children who have anemia. On this occasion we propose you the recipe for some delicious and healthy spinach croquettes. The children will surely come running to the table. They will love this recipe.


  • 200 gr of spinach leaves
  • 500 ml milk
  • 50 gr of wheat flour
  • 50 g of butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Bread crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt
  • Pepper (optional) It tells us what ingredients we need to make this recipe, as well as the step by step of its preparation.

1- A saucepan, heat the milk over low heat.

2- In another saucepan, melt the butter or margarine. Add the flour and stir until well mixed.

3- Add the hot milk, little by little, while stirring with a rod. Be careful not to form lumps or stick to the bottom of the saucepan.

4- When the mixture is about to bechamel, add the spinach leaves, previously washed and dried, and stir.

5- Put salt and pour everything on a flat plate to cool.

6- While it cools, beat the eggs in a bowl.

7- When the dough is cold, make small croquettes with your hands or the help of a spoon.

8- Pass the croquettes, one by one, through the beaten eggs and then through the breadcrumbs.

9- Fry in plenty of hot oil.

10- When it begins to have color, put the croquettes to drain on kitchen paper.

It can be served either with tomato sauce or with a fresh salad.
