Gratin volcanoes stuffed with prawns

Holiday menus can be very complicated for parents. On birthdays or family resignations, young and old get together, and you have to prepare dishes that everyone likes, especially children, who tend to complain more.

To enjoy the day without stress, it is best to ask the children for help to collaborate on recipes such as these gratin volcanoes stuffed with prawns, they will have fun filling them and they can be ready to serve in advance.

  • 10 volcanoes
  • 125 gr. shrimp
  • 200 gr. mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 250 ml. milk
  • 50 gr. Of flour
  • 100 gr. grated cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper
  • Salt

1. Wash the mushrooms and chop them, do the same with the garlic, leaving it very fine. Peel and chop the prawns (they can also be left whole, as preferred)

2. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add the mushrooms and garlic, sauté for a few minutes over medium heat. Add the prawns and continue frying.

3. In a bowl, dissolve the flour in the milk. Add to the pan and stir to thicken. Season to taste.

4. Preheat the oven to 200º. Fill the volcanoes, sprinkle with grated cheese and place on a tray lined with parchment paper.

5. Bake at 200º for 5 minutes in the upper part of the oven, so that the cheese melts and gratin.
